Clayton Dean is the Senior Electrical Engineer - Collision Avoidance Systems at Rosco Collision Avoidance, an automotive vision safety, engineering, and manufacturing company located in Queens, NY. Clayton has been with Rosco for 5 years and works extensively on collision avoidance implementations with vehicle manufacturers, transit organizations, and truck fleets. Before entering the automotive industry in pursuit of a career in electronics, Clayton was a touring and recording musician. He applies his interests in audio and electronics to products like Rosco’s Advanced Pedestrian Alert System, a collision avoidance system which employs external speakers to forewarn vulnerable road users of approaching vehicles. He has a B.A.S. in Energy Management from Bismarck State College and an A.A.S. in Electrical Utility Technology from Lanier Technical College.
