Geoff Aardsma is vice president of market development at AMCS Group, where he drives the strategic evolution of the AMCS Solution Suite to meet the dynamic needs of customers in today’s fast-changing market. Previously, he led the AMCS Professional Services team in North America, ensuring seamless deployments and empowering customers to maximize the value of the AMCS platform.

Geoff began his career at WM, where he honed his skills in regulated special waste and post-collection operations. He later expanded his work to include recycling, organics and sustainability consulting, giving him a deep understanding of the industry’s complexities. He also brings entrepreneurial flair to his leadership, having played a pivotal role in commercializing container sensor technology and optimization software for waste operations.

A lifelong learner, Geoff holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and an MBA in sustainable management from the University of Colorado. In 2017, he was named to Waste360’s 40 Under 40 list, recognizing him as a trailblazer shaping the future of the waste and recycling industry.
